This Privacy Policy explains how BusySeed Inc. ("BusySeed", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Rankxa platform at rankxa.com and geo.busyseed.com.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain a Stripe customer ID and high-level subscription status (plan, period end, cancellation flag).
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (a session cookie issued via express-session) and a small business-context cookie. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
To produce results, Rankxa sends prompts to third-party AI engines (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and data providers (Moz, Brave Search). These prompts are typically generic queries about your industry; we never share account passwords or billing data with those providers. Each provider has its own privacy policy that may apply to their handling of those queries.
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
Active accounts: data is retained while the account is open. After account deletion, we keep audit logs and billing records for the period required by law (typically 7 years for financial records); other personal data is deleted within 30 days.
We use industry-standard practices: HTTPS for all traffic, hashed passwords, role-scoped database access, and regular security review. No system is perfectly secure; please use a unique strong password and enable 2FA where offered.
Depending on your jurisdiction (US/EU/UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email hello@busyseed.com with the request and we’ll respond within 30 days.
Rankxa is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date and, where reasonable, communicated by email.
